Labneh Burrata Cheese Tart

Ingredients
  • 250 grams Labneh Cheese
  • 2 cups Spinach
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 ball Burrata
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Jalapeno
  • A few sprigs of Mint for Garnish
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spread the sheet of puff pastry out over a parchment paper lined baking tray.
  3. Fold each side of puff pastry dough once and shape the corners to form a boat-like filling.
  4. Scramble the egg in a separate bowl and brush the egg wash onto the puff pastry in one even coating.
  5. Bake the puff pastry tart in the oven until golden brown (about 10-15 minutes).
  6. Remove the golden pastry tart from the oven and set aside.
  7. In a sautee pan, sautee the spinach with salt pepper and a drizzle of olive oil for 1-2 minutes until the spinach has fully wilted.
  8. In a separate bowl, mix the spinach in with the labneh cheese and spread the mixture over the puff pastry tart in an even coating.
  9. Cut open the ball of burrata and scoop out dollops of cheese over the tart.
  10. Grate the tomato and place teaspoon fulls of the grated tomato onto the tart.
  11. Slice the jalapenos thinly and spread over the tart.
  12. Garnish with a few sprigs of fresh mint and enjoy!
